JUNO and multi Canadian Folk Music Award winners Good Lovelies, return for a Pop-Up Show this spring.
Based in Toronto, Ontario, Good Lovelies are nearly 20 years into a career that has yielded a widely acclaimed catalogue of studio albums, and a much-beloved live show that has garnered fans across North America, the UK, Australia and Europe.
Honoured with Juno awards, Ontario Folk Music and Canadian Folk Music Awards and a SOCAN #1 single, the roots-Americana ensemble of Caroline Marie Brooks, Kerri Ough and Susan Passmore has consistently delivered songwriting that is as compelling as the engaging vocal harmonies for which the group has been known for nearly two decades.
Hosted by acclaimed Canadian folk artist Ian Bell—one of the country’s most respected traditional singers and a dear friend of Old Town Hall. While he’ll guide the evening with his signature warmth and wit, those who know Ian know anything can happen… and a song (or even a few) may just find its way into the night.
