Music & Performance is focused on the collaboration between director Pavan Moondi and members of the hit band July Talk on the film Middle Life, hot on the heels of Peter Dreimanis’ break-out performance in the record-breaking Oscar nominated film Sinners. While focused around their acting performances, this panel will also touch more broadly on July Talk’s musical career.

Ideal for students, filmmakers, musicians, this panel explores the role of music and performance in shaping storytelling across film and screen-based media. It brings together creatives working across disciplines to discuss how music and performance influence tone, emotion, and audience engagement. 

Panelists include:
