Kimwun Perehinec is a Toronto-based actor, independent theatre producer, and artist educator whose work spans stage, screen, and arts education. Born in Ottawa, she has built a reputation for dynamic performances and a deep commitment to Canadian theatre. A co-founder and Core Artistic Team member of Studio 180 Theatre, Kimwun has appeared in numerous acclaimed productions, including You Will Remember Me, The Normal Heart, and Stuff Happens. Her stage work extends to collaborations with Convergence Theatre, The Howland Company, and Eldritch Theatre, where she continues to explore bold and innovative storytelling. On screen, Kimwun is known for roles in 11.22.63, The Line, Tkaronto, and B.J. Fletcher: Private Eye. Alongside performing, she is dedicated to mentoring young artists as an educator, fostering creativity and collaboration in the next generation. Passionate about meaningful, socially engaged theatre, Kimwun brings intelligence, empathy, and versatility to every project she undertakes.
